RANN-THANAGAR #2

Just finished reading this issue, and all i can say is im confused as hell. I mean i love GL, but i dont really know the history behind the people who are fighting. So in essence why should i care about this?? the reason im reading this comic is cause it will lead into the Infinite Crisis.... how ?? who knows?... i will continue to read, but on a confused state...
