JL Unlimited,-- July 3rd episode

really good epsiode tonight .. alot of polictal undertones in it.. seems like the fusion laser beam that they created in order to protect the people of earth from an invasions, such as from the hawk people, was fired.. but by who??? .. Superman to me represented America in this show,, he wanted to respond with a fight,, an eye for an eye, much like how we went into iraq.. the flash , gave the famous qutoe,, an eye for an eye, eventually , everyone will be blind. Makes you think about iraq, well it did for me.. About are we going into it right way, to use force.. but i guess its to late to really ask that, the way this war is going, its slowly turning into another
vietnam.. Seeing the people on earth reacting to the blast,,, how can the JL come to help them after they destoryed there homes.. to me this rings true on how some iraq people feel,, how we can be there to help them, when we invaded their country, and arrested there president... makes you think about alot of things.. im glad this epsiode came out,, especially if kids have watched this,, they can relate to what they see on the news,, cant wait for part 2

i too enjoyed this episode.
well, i've been enjoying all the recent jla episodes.......

i'm going to keep away from the "political" aspects of the show......
but on a lighter note.....
it's pretty cool how, at least to me it seems, this cartoon has been moving into that more "serious" tone that the comics have recently.....
i mean, the DC comics r currently experiencing a "crisis" of sorts, and it also seems that way in the cartoon...in a way.....
a lot of issues of trust are coming up, btwn humans and meta-humans, and even btwn fellow heroes.
the JLA in comics r falling apart, and in this episode we see GA clearly question his loyalties to the JLA, and capt atom go against superman.....wow.....

but anyways, till next time, make mines DC:)
