WAs waiting for the issue for a long time.. Not much happened in this issue, other then Dick Grayson parents die. Its a comic told by robin, and we see the life of the bat thru the young man who becomes robin.. Love the art,, Jim Lee has always been one of my top artist,Frank Miller,, cant go wrong,, overall, a good comic....

i can honestly say i didnt like this issue.
yes, i know its JUST the 1st.....
but, i just feel like miller's style in this book doesn't exactly work 4 this series.
it worked GREAT 4 the classic- dark knight returns, where we so a much OLDER, grittier batman, ready 4 WAR.
when i read this issue....the all star batman sounded too similar....
i mean dark knight rtrns batman had a REASON to be such a war monger....
this new bats...hhhmm, maybe it's to early to tell.
my friend brought up that it's cause it's batman as seen through the eyes of robin....
if THATS the case, then i guess i can understand....but if NOT....im just not feeling it too much.
i mean, the art's beautiful....
but i need a lil' more than just eye candy these days:(
