Fantasic 4 The movie
Just saw the movie...
I would give it 2 1/2 stars.. Not one of the better superhero movies.. Granted it was great seeing the FF4 on the big screen,, i mean it was better then the older bootleg that was going around for years.. I mean i like this team in the Marvel Universe,, especially the Ultimate FF4... BUt for me what this movie lacked,, is story,, i never really cared about the people,, i never really felted the feelings between Sue and Richard.. i mean they tried, but everything moved so fast in the movie,, they go so quick to the superhero part, that they forgot to tell us who are these people.
I think if they did that,, i would like this movie better,, i need some kind of build up, i know to cared about the people im seeing on the screen,, cause if i dont, then its all eye candy...
Now for the eye candy,, great human torch,, very cool..
and of course,, Jessica Alba,,, words cant describe her beauty,,,, she is one of the most beautiful women on this planet,, i dont think she will win an oscar any time soon but,, who cares, : )

i see where ur coming from with the whole character development bit.....
and ur right....
i guess it didn't affect me as much cause of how much history i already know about them.
but i DO think the movie kept to the comic book's core characterizations, and i think that's a good thing.
Reed was still portrayed as being so engulfed into his work that he's oblivious to everything else around him, including those who luv him.
Human Torch was still a hothead, show-off, who often DID before thinking.
his rivalry with the Thing was also great.
and the THING was just great...
i mean, they kept very true to the inner struggles he experienced in the comics...
i FELT his pain.
Dr. Doom was still vain, power hungry, conceited......he WAS DOOM.
so, hey, looks like in a sense, i DID care about the characters,,,,
i mean, how could u not care about the THING.
how could u not b upset at Reed 4 being so blind about Sue throughout the movie.
or upset at Johhny's descisions?
the movie's NOT the best....
but it was an ok attempt.
it WAS FUN watching it though, i'll tell that much.

Because it was too fast to come to have feelings,, like i saw he was in pain,, but i didnt feel it,, because i didnt know ben in the movie.....
case in point,, spiderman,, at the end,, u felt his struggle,, or when his uncle ben died,, u felt with him that he has a job to do,, he has to be spider man...
yes it was fun to watch,, but those things borthered me....
